As an example: You purchase a 1 month recurring subscription for 10 seats on July 4th.

Your Activation codes will have a soft-expiry date of August 5th.

If you cancel your subscription any time after July 4th, your subscription will still expire on August 5th. You need do nothing more.

If your monthly renewal payment is received (automatically billed on August 4th), your Activation Codes expiry dates are updated to the next month, being September 5th, and so on.

Should you decide you no longer need 10 seats, you can cancel your existing order of 10 seats, and start a new order for 5. A new Activation code (good for 5 seats) will be emailed to you. You just allow the old 10 seat activation to expire.
