Queue this:
C:TESTTESTERTESTINGTESTEDcadfile.dwg

In the example above the $FILEDRIVE$ TAG would take me back to
C:

Since $FILEDRIVE+1$ would be impossible...could there be a TAG that would that me back to the root folder
C:TEST

I have some instances where $FILEPATH-#$ would leave me with some inconsistencies

Hi Miksteele,

Good idea... I don't think that would be impossible!

I think $FILEDRIVE+n$ can be implemented. Basically, I have the filename, so I can approach it from either end.

I'll work on it...

Regards,
Bill

Here you go...

$FILEDRIVE+1$ (thru 9) are functional.
(Even though only 1-3 are listed in the drop downs)
