I haven't run Hurricane in a while, but I am testing it out on my machine prior to taking it to work.

I have AutoCAD MEP, and Hurricane does not seem to run right

I have it pointed to:

C:\Program Files\AutoCAD MEP 2010\acad.exe

once i try running hurricane autcad MEP gives out this message:
START
Application does not support just-in-time (JIT)
debugging. See the end of this message for details.

************** Exception Text **************
System.Exception: The component 'Autodesk.AutoCAD.AcInfoCenterConn.MyAutoCADBalloon' does not have a resource identified by the URI '/AcWindows;component/infocenteracconn/myautocadballoon.xaml'.

at Autodesk.AutoCAD.AcInfoCenterConn.InfoCenterManager.AcadApplication_Idle(Object sender, EventArgs e)
END

Has anyone seen this, or do they have any ideas?

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Chris

Looks to me that there is something wrong with "MyAutoCADBalloon".

Check your acadxxxxxx.lsp files (you may have a couple different autoloaders) to see if this resource is being loaded, and rem out the line and try again.

(You can use Windows Explorer (or any other file searcher), to check for "MyAutoCADBalloon" inside any lsp files in your AutoCAD folder. Then simply open and rem the line that loads it (and don't forget which file you modified). Before I save the file, I usually check the "last modified date" to give me an indication WHEN the file was modified, as obviously something touched the effected file, and you can often nail it down by comparing dates.

My suspicion would be that some other software was installed that modified your AutoCAD installation...

Have you installed any other AutoCAD add-on software lately? Some of them don't work as advertised, and some don't uninstall cleanly.

With Hurricane, your AutoCAD installation isn't touched at all, so if that component has been modified/adjusted, it wasn't Hurricane.
