I've just built up a new laptop and I'm having a problem I've not seen with Hurrcan before. When ACAD launches, I'm asked if I want to discard changes Y/N. I can type resume and the script runs on, but what setting is different from my old setup to make this happen? Thanks, GD
I am having this same issue. I used Hurricane on a Windows 7 PC before with no issues. I have "Use Open with DBMod" checked. I don't know what PREUSERSCRIPT is. Any Ideas?
The reason AutoCAD is asking you to "Discard Changes Y/N", is because the default drawing (usually empty) has been modified as it was being loaded. This is usually due to something being invoked upon loading of the DWG.
The "PreUserScript" area (on the settings Tab) will impose changes on the drawing (Like ZOOM E) or similar. So there needs to be a way to exit the FIRST/Default drawing after a 'change' is made (due to the PreUserScript field).
Could you post your AutoCAD F2 scrollback buffer text?
We could probably diagnose what is going on with that file. Thanks.
