Did you know that if you go to the "Start->Run" command box, and type "Installer", you will get an explorer window open up and list all the software that has a windows installer/uninstaller present!?
The names that appear are somewhat archaic, but if you right-click the COLUMN HEADINGS, you can select the "COMMENT" field, and it will appear as a column (resize columns as necessary).
From here if you see some software that you want to get rid of, you can right-click the filename and select "Uninstall".
I've uninstalled many applications who's normal Control Panel "Add/Remove Software" function would not function properly.
Take Care! Bill
