I have been meaning to ask about this for a while...

Hurricane allows a multiple launch, (Multiple OPEN), of queued files. I am pretty darn certain that it used to open each drawing in the same session, but now it doesn't. Even though my SDI is off, each drawing opens in its own AutoCAD session. How do I get these to open up in the same session?

What am I missing

I took a look at an old post http://www.74mph.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=119

I may be experiencing the same issue. Keep in mind that all I am trying to do is launch the file by selecting several queued files and hitting enter. I am not running a script, so it shouldn't be reading my 'PreBatch Command'.

Miksteele,

I double-checked Hurricanes code, and it seems to be find, it's just a standard "ShellExecute filename"

The only way I can reproduce what you are experiencing is to set the SDI variables...

Have you tried just double-clicking in Windows Explorer and see what happens?

Regards,
Bill

hmm... I went back and read Steve's post again and checked my file type setup.

I found that my "Application box should read: program" I changed it to so my "Application box should read: acad" and it now works. I wonder if rgbargy got his working.

Weird... couldn't tell you how that might have changed

Thanks!
