Hi,

I work in an architectural office and receive drawings from differant consultants.

I have created differant pagesetups for each firm.

i have used the Deletepagesetups.scr to rmove there setups, as the plotter name is not the same as ours.

i have used the Import Page Setup wizard, but have some questions about it.

1. can i only add one pagesetup at a time? because we plot full size sheets, Half size sheets and 11x17 sheets. I have page setups for all of them in the same file by company.

2. How can i Set Current one of the pagesetups Hurricane imports?current

The only way I know to manipulate the selection of the pagesetups is through the -plot command, unless you have a lisp to do it (along with other things) (like my previous link showed).

You can use the -PLOT command to get to the first prompt, but your script must say NO to the Detailed plot config prompt.

Command: -plot
Detailed plot configuration? [Yes/No] <No>: <-Just say no!
Enter a layout name or <Model>:
Enter a page setup name <>: <-Enter pagesetup you want to select
Enter an output device name or <HP LaserJet 6P>:
Write the plot to a file [Yes/No] <N>:
Save changes to page setup [Yes/No]? <N> Y <-Save it
Proceed with plot [Yes/No] <Y>: N <-Don't plot it (unless you want to)
Command:

Hope that gets you closer?

Regards
Bill

Hi

The "Append" feature should work for adding in the addtional pagesetups.

but the i don't think the other part of your reply is what i was looking for.

what i have are pagesetups for an 11x17 printer, a full size (say 30x42 page) and a half size (say 15x21).

with these three liasted in the pagesetup dialog box in autocad i can select the 30x42 pagesetup and hit the "set currect" button so that when plotting (and i use the Sheet Set Manager a lot) i select what every drawings i want then select "publish to plotter and i get full size drawings with just a couple of mouse clicks, no opening and closing of the drawings.

for 11x17 or half size i select the drawings and then select "Publish with Dialog Box" and my pagesetups are right there to select.

Hi,

You might find the following post useful,
http://www.74mph.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=59&SearchTerms=psetup

You can also use the Hurricane "append" feature to join your pagesetup script to itself, over and over again.

I hope that helps!
