AutoCad 2007LT has the function where the filename and time could be printed on the plot. I adapted the standard format into a small block which I could insert into the drawing somewhere and it would be updated automatically when the "command" revdate was given.
AutoCad 2008 does not seem to have that Revdate function. It seems to be replaced by PlotStamp but it does not respect the existing revdate block. Am I correct?

How can I use the old (2007) Revdate Block which exist in the existing 2007 drawings and update it with current data automatically?

It seems that I was flogging a dead horse. I have looked into Fields and been able to duplicate the advantage that revdate had. The field method is much more versatile.I did not give plotstamp a big look because it did not co-operate. Sooo, that's the end of revdate.

What I really need to know is whether or not PLOTSTAMP (in 2k8) has replaced REVDATE (from 2k7)?
Any help here is appreciated.
Thks.
