Ability to select files (on left hand list) then perform "rename" and "delete" operations to those files, without having to start Windows Explorer?

What if you had a "MOVE FILES TO" or "RELOCATE FILES" option on...say a "UTILITIES" drop down menu. One could select that option and then a BROWSER WINDOW would pop up, (similar to your "WIDE DIRECTORY BROWSER" window). From there just pick you directory, confirm the move, and your done!

Another handy utility for Queued files would be a RENAME option with full use of the FILTER!

Yes, that crossed my mind... actually, I originally thought, if the need was there, those features could possibly be "selectively" enabled/disabled by the sysadmin...

Cause we all know that putting SOME people in front of a computer is VERY dangerous!

As for the MOVE command, how do you suggest to implement it?

Maybe the user would have to select the files to move in the QUEUE, and then navigate in the file selector to the destination directory, and then right-click the queue to "Move Files to..." ???

Maybe the rename would work similarly...

Actually... have you seen the utility in the archives section?, called multiren... it allows full wildcard replacement, with incrementing numbers... very nicely done... I'd love to reproduce it in Hurricane, but it's hard to get motivated when the utility already exists and is freely available...

Hmmm...

"delete" could be a dangerous option...(probably obvious)... but since you are kicking it around, lets throw in a "move" option.
