That's true...
...My "N" drive, might show up as your "Q" drive, even though they are mapped to the same physical network drives.
...I would like think that any drafting department would have the mapped drives standardized...especially network drives hosting projects.
On the otherhand... if there was such a CAD department which had fourteen draftsman working on fourteen separate stations mapped to the same physical network drive...each station having there own unique drive letter....well then...so be it...they are definitely NOT my competitor...
However......Hurricane could simplify life for them and allow them the browse to the projects physical location... \serverjobs

Something else to think about. BK |

If it wasn't obvious....this would need to work smoothly in a network environment, (the way to get the most out of Hurricane anyway ).
I know there was some past discussions regarding 'default templates'...'default TAGS"...etc. If there was only one set of PROJECTDATA tags and it always looked in the same place for these PROJECTDATA tags, I dont see any hangups. If there was several different sets of PROJECTDATA tags I see some issues.
The ability to save template sets of 40 for the USER TAGS is great!...We was use that feature a lot...but I think the same the same concept for the PROJECTDATA tags will give me a few 's...

I think the advanced users could benefit from this.
Anyone care to comment please?
