For me, the files in the QUEUE are the only thing I'm working with at that point. Sometimes my QUEUE will consist of drawings in several different folders. Or, all I may want is 10 of the 100 filtered drawings that are in the folder. This is where the current QuickPick is limited... I definitely see QuickPick potential
Thanks for the consideration in advance!

"QuickQueue" sounds good, but what ever you'd like Bill.
Thank You!!!

Posted - March 14 2003 : 11:37:28 PM Steely...
Sorry it took so long... here it is...
I even got the tool-tip thing working... I've tried using a filter of *.* and launching anything and everything from the "QuickQueue" (as you named it ) Can I use this name in the documentation?
Works the same as the other QP, single click to preview, double-click to launch the file. I've made it a little wider for those long file-names, just hover the mouse over an item in the list to view the full path. Seems to work well... Please give it a thorough test and try to break it!!
The attached file is the "bare" exe, with no linked files (I've named it "hurricane 6.0.101.exe" so you won't overwrite your full exe) (it should work as long as you have run the 1+Meg file previously), just make sure you don't erase your old hurricane.exe)
Download Attachment: hurricane 6.0.101.zip 110.87 KB
Thanks again!

Posted - March 14 2003 : 5:17:23 PM Yesss!!! Looking forward to it!
As for the double files... shouldn't be a problem for me. (If that issue comes up, my problems are a lot worse than my QuickPick list. )
As for the button placement, the far lower right is logical. It follows what you did with the FILE SELECTOR side.
Thanks Again,

Posted - March 14 2003 : 4:48:30 PM Thanks for the suggestion...
Sounds like a plan...
Considerations: 1) Because the "Quick-Pick" list only shows the actual filename, NOT the path, the possibility of two files being named the same (in different directories), being added to the Quick Pick list.
If you don't mind the ambiguity of having two (or more) files, with the same name, in the list, without actually knowing which one is which, then I'll go for it.
2) Also, where do you suggest the button to launch the QuickPick for the Queue should go? Maybe the far lower-right?
Actually, I think I just thought of a possible solution: I can put tooltips in there so that when you hover the mouse over an item in the list, it will display the entire path of that file in a tooltip... (I'll see if using tooltips in a listbox is possible!)
Thanks for the idea...!!! the gears are turning...
