I have an odd situation. I would like to change part of the "prompt" in an AutoCad attribute (not nested in a block, just an attribute). We use the info. for CNC beam files and it works great, but every once in awhile I need to just copy the beam and change the beam Piece mark. Currantly I change the att's. one at a time, very time consuming. I've attached an small example, if you look at the white (layer=cnc) text, it's attributes, and all the prompts are ***303B1*******, I need a find & replace tool for the 303B1 (Hurricane, lisp, etc.). Thanks for any input.

Gosh...

I really looked around for something...
Besides using the "BATTMAN" command, and doing everything manually... I don't know what else to say...

Something in here might help... http://www.ds-t.com/software-cd/softwares/autodesk/texte/bfts/autocad2002_preview_guide.pdf
