I have noticed that the VIEW button in the FILELIST box no longer opens the .lst or .txt files as it once did.

It is now opening up windows explorer.

It does this to me in versions 6.0 build 10 & 11.

Have you ever seen any abnormal terminations of the program? The field could go blank if it crashed for some reason... Funny.. I have never had it crash, and have never seen things get messed up.

I have heard from some people that their systems (IT people) run "monitoring" software that watches the system registry (maybe like a virus scanner!?!??). These programs might filter access to the system registry, and might not allow the proper information to be written upon program shutdown. Who knows!?

If you've seen anything strange happen, and can repeat the error, then a fix can be made!

Just let me know!
Thanks again,
BK

Hi,

Please select a valid text editor in your Tools->Options->Text Editor.

You can just put "notepad.exe" in the box (without a path specified, as notepad.exe is within the windows path).

If you have another text editor like editpad, or ultraedit etc... just put the full path to the exe in the box. (Use the browse button)

Let me know how this turns out.
