Posted - November 29 2007 : 6:41:35 PM I have a series of drawings that show 6 sections across an architectural background. This was managed by the architect by simply adding a layout tab for each section. Each drawing can have as many as six layout tabs. Each tab has a title block with different attributes. I'd like cause an update across all tabls of a series of drawings. Also, I need to add a new block to each title block. Is there a way for me to pick up the tabs across a series of drawings? Thx, GeeDee |

The simple answer is, there is not simple answer!
Basically, you are confined to what AutoCAD has to offer at the command-line.
So, if you use the -LAYOUT command, and get things working at the command line using that command, (along with others), you will just have to reproduce them in a script.
There are a couple of ways to "cycle" through the layout tabs.
Here are a couple threads to start you off.. http://www.74mph.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=269&SearchTerms=layout http://www.74mph.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=117&SearchTerms=layout
Please let me know how it goes!
