This document provides you with the information necessary to install and use the VIEWTOLAYOUT and PAGEIN/PAGEOUT bonus utilities. Contents of aclyutil.exe This is a self-extracting file that contains the following files: * aclyutil.arx * aclyutil.hlp * aclyutilreadme.txt VIEWTOLAYOUT ------------ Copies the objects in a paper space view (along with current plot settings), and creates a new paper space layout in the same drawing. VIEWTOLAYOUT converts drawings that contain multiple drawing sheets in a single paper space to multiple layouts, each with a single drawing sheet. VIEWTOLAYOUT copies all of the paper space geometry within a specified view and creates a new layout using the copied geometry and plot settings. To run this command, the layout that contains the view geometry you want to copy must be current. PAGEOUT ------- Stores the plot settings in a named page setup and enables importing of plot settings into other drawings. PAGEOUT creates a named page setup from the plot settings of the current model space or layout. The newly created named page setup contains the plot settings necessary to plot a drawing similar to the current model or layout. PAGEIN ------ Imports Page Setups created by the PAGEOUT command into any drawing. PAGEIN reads the script file that is created using PAGEOUT, imports the page setup designated by the script file into the current drawing file and then saves the imported page setup information to the current model space or layout. After you have run PAGEIN your drawing is ready to plot. Installation Instructions To install the PAGEOUT/PAGEIN/VIEWTOLAYOUT utilities ---------------------------------------------------- 1.
